The Registrar's Office handles all transcript requests for current students and alumni.
If you're applying for a graduate program or scholarship or you need a transcript for an employment application, check with the institution to learn whether they require an official or unofficial transcript.
Official Transcript
Official transcripts are issued by the National Student Clearinghouse in a sealed envelope and bear the D'Youville seal or sent electronically through the NSC as a secure PDF. Once the envelope is opened, the transcript is no longer considered official. We recommend that official transcripts bearing the institutional seal be mailed or emailed directly to the agency or institution requiring them. Charges will vary depending on they type of transcript (electronic or mailed) and the delivery method requested.
Procedure to Request a Transcript
- Students can request for official transcripts using the National Student Clearinghouse.
- The official transcript can be sent electronically to an email address, by regular mail, or by expedited mail. Again, the electronic transcript should be sent directly to the intended recipient. Electronic transcripts will reach the recipient in approximately 15 minutes.
- The transcript fee is also processed with the National Student Clearinghouse.
- If you get a message saying you can't be located by the Clearinghouse, it is just that your record is in our legacy system. Confirm your birth date and name attended under are correct and select "no" to not change any of the information provided. This will continue the order process and we will manually match your record so your transcript can be sent.
Transcript requests are processed in the order they are received. During times of particularly high-volume activity such as periods of registration, grade reporting or commencement, transcripts may not be processed immediately.
Unofficial Transcripts
Current students can access unofficial transcripts in the student planning section of self-service, accessed via My D'Youville.
If you are an alumnus looking for your unofficial transcript and do not have access to your My D'Youville account, please email Registrar@dyc.edu and provide your date of birth and mailing address and we will mail one to you. We are not able to securely email transcripts to non-dyu email address. You can order a transcript through the Clearinghouse that can be sent securely to your email.
Holy Angels Academy Alumnae
D'Youville holds the transcripts for alumnae of Holy Angels Academy in North Buffalo. All requests for transcripts must be made to solutions my email, regular mail, fax or in person. We recommend that official transcripts (sealed) be mailed directly to the agency or institution requiring them. If a student needs an official transcript and wants to pick it up in person, the transcript will be issued in a sealed envelope. Once the envelope is opened, the transcript is no longer considered official.
There is no fee for requesting transcripts.

Alumnae of Holy Angels Academy in North Buffalo may request their transcripts through D'Youville's Office of the Registrar.
