Founded in 1908 and named after St. Marguerite d’Youville, the Patroness Saint of the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart, D’Youville University has a rich history improving equity and access in society, starting with the intentional effort to education women and new immigrants at a time when that was not the norm.
