- Evaluate the impact of structure/part modification on a biological system and/or relationship between systems
- Critique and professionally present primary literature articles in the general biomedical science field
Prerequisite Courses
Student must have completed the following courses at the undergraduate level as program prerequisite to be admitted into the program: two semester of general chemistry, two semester of general biology, either a two semester of organic chemistry or one semester of organic chemistry and one semester of biochemistry, and one semester of any field of behavioral science course.
Enrollment Requirements
In addition to the general admission requirements for graduate programs at D’Youville, applicants for the Master of Science in Biomedical Science must
- Complete online graduate application for admission
- Complete a baccalaureate degree from an approved or accredited institution with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.8.
- Official transcripts from all college/ universities attended. Non-US students must submit ‘course-by-course’ evaluation (or equivalent) of all college and/or university transcripts through the World Education Services (WES) or other approved foreign transcript evaluation agencies.

Preferential admission awarded to students with undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
