Biography

Dr. Okorie brings a dynamic combination of medical, anatomical, and educational expertise to D’Youville University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy and a medical degree from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, building a robust foundation in understanding the human body. His clinical experience as a practicing physician and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology enrich his anatomical insights with practical applications.

A passionate educator, Dr. Okorie has taught Anatomy, Histology, Neuroanatomy, and Embryology at institutions such as Saint George’s University and Saint James School of Medicine. His Master’s in Public Health further broadens his perspective, allowing him to address the wider social and systemic factors influencing human health and disease.

Dr. Okorie’s expertise and dedication make him a vital contributor to the College, preparing future osteopathic physicians with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and public health.
