Biography

Dr. Damkaci is an experienced full professor with demonstrated success in program development. He received several federal grants totaling more than $3.5million focusing on student success and program development. He has experience in STEM Retention programs, Undergraduate and Graduate Program Development and Management, Teaching, and Educational Leadership. He received several awards in teaching, research, grant writing, and faculty service. He enhanced his educational experience and skills with several executive certificate programs, such as: Social Enterprise Initiative and Leadership from Harvard Business School, Higher Education Leadership from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and Public Diplomacy, Leadership, and Management from Syracuse University School of Maxwell. He taught courses in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, nanochemistry, and chemistry for public. He also served as the chair of the chemistry department at SUNY Oswego before he joined DYU.
