I am a licensed psychologist, educator, advisor and administrator in clinical psychology. After my Predoctoral Internship at the VA Medical Center in Tampa, Fl, as part of the Team Training Program in Geriatrics, I completed a two-year fellowship in geropsychology and neuropsychology, at Philadelphia Geriatric Center. I moved into clinical training and teaching at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in 1994 and served as Director of Clinical Training for 4 years. In my 16 years since moving to Buffalo, I have served as the founding director of the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at Medaille University and for 4 years, I was Chair of the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology. As part of the professional school movement, I am proud to educate and train practitioner-scholars to deliver services within health and mental health care settings in a way that integrates science and practice. My current practice within a rural primary care setting involves interview based assessment and brief therapy with a variety of adults, including older adults and their caregivers. I am very happy to become part of the D'Youville community with the teach out for the PSYD program from Medaille University.
