Biography

Michelle Mounteney, OTD, MS,OTR/L is an occupational therapist with 33 years of clinical experience in pediatrics. Michelle also has experience in supervision and management with an emphasis on program development, policy and procedures, and quality assurance and improvement. As a professor at D'Youville University, she has been involved with the SHP curriculum committee and previously on the board for Hickok Center for Brain Injury, Inc.

Research Interests

Dr. Mounteney's research interests include foster care with respect to the child, birth parents, and foster parents as well as transitioning out of care. Other interests include pediatrics, use of OT within the office of accessibility, and student mental health across campus.
