Dr. Stacie Lampkin is a tenured associate professor in the Pharmacy Practice Department at D’Youville. She joined the School of Pharmacy as a clinical assistant professor in 2010 and was promoted to clinical associate professor in 2016. Currently, her clinical practice is in Pediatric Ambulatory Care at Robert Warner Center where she works with other health care professionals to manage the pharmacotherapy of children with complex health concerns and developmental disabilities. Dr. Lampkin’s teaching focus is pediatric pharmacotherapy and topics related to medication use in pediatric patients. Dr. Lampkin’s other passion includes health promotion and self-advocacy. In 2018, she was diagnosed and underwent treatment for breast cancer…now in remission! During this journey, she realized how truly difficult it is to navigate the healthcare system and advocate for you own health decisions. In 2019, she became a Board-Certified Patient Advocate. Dr. Lampkin plans to use her passion, training, knowledge and experiences to develop initiatives surrounding medication self-advocacy in our complex medical system.
