D’Youville Appoints New Vice President for Enrollment

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – Shabeer H. Amirali was announced the new vice president for enrollment at D’Youville University, effective March 1.

The Office of Enrollment Management at D’Youville includes recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and enrollment marketing. Amirali will be responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive enrollment ecosystem, data-driven marketing and communications strategy, national recruitment strategies, financial aid packaging, and the development of robust external partnerships.

“We are very excited to have attracted Amirali to move to Buffalo and join our team. I’m eager to see all the exciting possibilities he will bring to the organization by leveraging his strong understanding of technology and data-analytics, as well as his valuable international experiences in higher education,” says D’Youville President Lorrie A. Clemo, PhD.

Amirali is currently completing a doctorate in leadership at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. He holds an MBA from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Madras in Chennai, India.
