New Look D’Youville: Campus Transformation Video

The D’Youville campus was buzzing with activity all summer as major changes took place. The construction of the Student Success Center, the Solutions Center, and the new Simulation Center, has D’Youville looking like a brand-new place.

The two new spaces, the Students Success Center and the Solutions Center, are designed to both save and improve the quality of students’ time here.

From Those at the Core of the Centers:
The Student Success Center

The Student Success Center is an innovative space that allows for collaboration among the students’ academic and professional journey. I’m looking forward to utilizing the amazing technology available here and work with students in one-on-one and group settings.
— Denise Harris, director of career and professional engagement

I think Helen Keller said it better than I could: Alone we can do so little; but together we can do so much.
— Stephanie Atti, associate director of academic advising and planning

The Student Success Center is an innovative and collaborative space that provides students with the tools and assistance they need to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.
— Ryan Miller, associate director of transfer services

The Solutions Center

Solutions is an innovative new space on campus that combines the offices of Financial Aid, Student Accounts and the Registrar. The goal is to improve the student experience and reduce the runaround through employee and student collaboration, as well as the infusion of technology.

The Interprofessional Education and Simulation Center

The Interprofessional Education and Simulation Center has a new home on campus, now located on the first floor of the D’Youville Academic Center (DAC). As it awaits the future construction of the Health Professions Hub, it’s mission is still the same.

The core purpose of the Interprofessional Education and Simulation Center is to train learners to work as valuable members of a team. To achieve this everything in the center is geared toward bringing to life teachable moments through creating scenarios and experiences that mimic real life. The learners are given opportunities to practice applying, in a safe environment, the knowledge and skills they have learned in pursuit of their professions.
— James Cypert, director of the Interprofessional Education and Simulation Center
