D’Youville University Celebrates Accepted Students Day with Engaging Campus Experience

BUFFALO, NY – D'Youville University's campus buzzed with excitement as accepted students and their families descended for the first Accepted Students Day of the 2025 spring season. The event provided a comprehensive look at the D’Youville experience, allowing future Saints to connect with faculty, staff, and current students while exploring the vibrant campus community.

The day kicked off with a warm welcome and a chance to connect with fellow accepted students and D’Youville faculty and staff over lunch. Attendees then dove into a variety of engaging activities designed to showcase the diverse opportunities available at the university. Aspiring healthcare professionals explored a range of hands-on experiences, from practicing CPR on high-fidelity manikins and observing live healthcare simulations to testing their balance in the active rehabilitation clinic, Thrive. Accepted students also had the opportunity to sample culinary creations during a cooking demonstration in the teaching kitchen used by our Nutrition and Dietetics students.

A bustling Student Services Bazaar connected students and families with representatives from various offices, including financial aid, student life, and academic advising, ensuring they had access to all the resources available to them. Current D’Youville students shared their academic experiences and offered firsthand perspectives on campus life, providing valuable insights to the potential incoming class.

The day culminated in a celebratory dinner, followed by optional overnight activities for students who wanted to further immerse themselves in the D’Youville community. These optional activities allowed students to experience campus life firsthand, connect with potential classmates, and get a feel for the vibrant atmosphere at D’Youville. 

Accepted Students Day showcased the unique blend of academic excellence, personalized support, and vibrant campus life that defines D’Youville University. The event left accepted students and their families excited to join the D’Youville community and begin their journey as Saints! 

Another Accepted Students Day will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 and Undergraduate Open House will be on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
