Transcript Evaluation Services

D'Youville requires that all international transcripts be formally evaluated by an independent evaluation service. All applicants—first time in college, transfer and graduate students—must submit a 'course-by-course' evaluation of their previous transcripts. In addition, students will also require official transcript translation if the original transcript is not issued in English.

Canadians & International School Graduates

If you are graduating from a secondary school in the United States or Canada, or an accredited international school that grants U.S. diplomas, you are not required to have your transcripts evaluated. Please check with the International Admissions Office for details.

Immigration Documentation & Approval

All Canadian citizens and permanent residents must obtain a Federal Form I-20. Your I-20 form will be issued after submitting your tuition deposit, the international student financial forms and supporting bank documentation. If you're a permanent resident of Canada, you'll need to make an appointment at a U.S. consulate in order to obtain a student visa.
