D’Youville University is Honored to Announce it has earned Gold Military Friendly© School Designation

D’Youville University is proud to announce that it has earned the 2024-2025 Military Friendly© School designation, Gold Standard. Those receiving Gold Standard are among the top organizations whose commitments, efforts, and success rates create a sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community.

Military Friendly© designation is based on data collected from both public sources and targeted surveys. Focusing on those veteran and military aligned community members who D’Youville University welcomes each year from around the country, this status serves as a symbol to showcase the university is a top choice for both students and employees. “Being recognized as a Military Friendly© school is an honor,” shares Samantha Tycz, Doctor of Physical Therapy 2024, military aligned student. “The distinction acts as a sort of beacon to those who are veterans and military aligned. It says that D’Youville has a place for them and that the standards are high.”

More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2024-2025 Military Friendly© survey. The 2024-2025 Military Friendly© Schools list will be published in the May and October issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.

Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by ‘Viqtory’ with input from the Military Friendly© Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey scores with the assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
