Celebrate D’Youville’s Third Annual Day of Giving
D’Youville’s Day of Giving is today — April 2!
This 24-hour challenge is an opportunity for alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to show their pride and support to D’Youville and its students.
This year our goal is 500 donors — that’s just 21 donors each hour.
Donors can choose exactly where their money goes, whether it’s towards scholarships, student clubs, Campus Cupboard, a specific school or program, or D’Youville’s greatest need. Your gift has a huge impact, no matter how big or small.
Featured this year are challenges to promote friendly competition and the opportunity for donors to see how their money will be used. Challenges include dollar or donor amounts to help students travel to conferences and bring guest speakers onto campus, a pizza party from the Student Government Association for the club with the most donors, a few notable faculty ready to take a whipped cream pie to the face if goals are met, and more.
Equally important is that you share your giving story! Post on social media, text, call, and email your friends to say why you decided to give and help inspire others to do the same.
