"Higher education is evolving and I have every confidence that under the visionary leadership of President Clemo, the President's Cabinet, and the Board of Trustees, the university is poised for a bright future. My goal is to amplify the university's reputation and expand its reach, solidifying its position as a premier institution of higher learning."
Matthews began his career with the Bills in 2006, hired as a multimedia producer, creating videos for digital and TV platforms. In 2007, he earned a promotion to Game Day Producer, and his production team went on to revolutionize the fan experience at Highmark Stadium, crafting an electric atmosphere and rich tradition that has become synonymous with Bills games, and is widely regarded as one of the best in the National Football League. In 2012, Matthews began producing shows for the Buffalo Bills television network and simultaneously played a pivotal part in developing and launching the organization's in-house radio programming, which eventually evolved into a televised simulcast, further broadening the team's media reach. Under his guidance, the Bills' media and content division underwent significant growth expanding from five individuals to a team of over 40 dedicated professionals.
