Andrea Reitz Named D'Youville Executive Director of Student Financial Services

Buffalo, New York – March 31, 2025: D'Youville University announced today that Andrea Reitz has joined D'Youville as executive director of student financial services.
Reitz will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of financial aid, student accounts and bursar operations. She is responsible for developing strategies to enhance financial accessibility for students while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Reitz will lead a dedicated team, fostering a supportive environment that empowers students to achieve their educational goals.

Every student will have a dedicated financial services counselor, providing personalized support every step of the way.”
Reitz comes to D'Youville with a tremendous record of success in financial aid with a focus on the student relationship. She most recently served at the University at Buffalo where she joined the UB team as a financial aid advisor in 2018. She saw four promotions in her seven years at the university leaving her most recent position as associate director of financial aid to come to D’Youville.
In her role at D’Youville, she will ensure the delivery of high-quality services that support student success and financial well-being. The Executive Director will supervise the Office of Financial Aid and share oversight responsibility with the CFO for student accounts and bursar functions.
Rietz will also develop policies and procedures for awarding financial aid, including grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study programs in addition to leading financial literacy programs and workshops for students to promote informed financial decision-making.
